{"id":101732,"date":"2018-07-16T16:21:29","date_gmt":"2018-07-16T16:21:29","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.scfri.com\/?p=172"},"modified":"2022-04-19T15:36:11","modified_gmt":"2022-04-19T11:06:11","slug":"jcpoa-remains-if-sanctions-are-away","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/scfr.ir\/en\/council\/101732\/jcpoa-remains-if-sanctions-are-away\/","title":{"rendered":"JCPOA remains if sanctions are away"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dr. Kamal Kharrazi on his China trip and besides participation at Beijing World Peace Forum, visited some international relations and foreign relations studies institutes.<\/p>\n<p>The China Institute of International Studies (CHS), Chinese People&#8217;s Institute of Foreign Affairs (CPIFA) and The China Institutes of Contemporary International Relations were among those Chinese institutes that were visited during this trip.<\/p>\n<p>Regional issues, Terrorism, US policies and tensions in international system, US withdrawal from JCPOA and its consequences were among subjects which were discussed with presidents of those institutes.<\/p>\n<p>In these meetings, both sides emphasized on the necessity of bilateral cooperation, regional d\u00e9tente in Far East and Middle East, preserving JCPOA and fighting against terrorism.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-175 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scfri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_2298-853x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Emphasizing on Iran\u2019s stabilizing role in the region and preserving status quo in Iraq and Syria, Dr. Kharrazi said unfortunately expansion of terrorism in the region and creation of terrorist groups like ISIS would be impossible if some countries in the region didn\u2019t help them financially and logistically.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0On bilateral economic cooperation, President of Strategic Council on Foreign Relations hinted on Iran-China cooperation in \u201cOne belt \u2013 One Road\u201d project, development of Chabahar in South East of Iran, and Gwadar port in Pakistan. Development of these vast geographical regions contributes to easier access of Middle East and Mediterranean region.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-176 size-large\" src=\"http:\/\/www.scfri.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/07\/IMG_2247-853x640.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"640\" height=\"480\" \/><\/p>\n<p>President of Strategic Council on Foreign Relations emphasized that because of US illegal withdrawal from Joint Plan of Action (JCPOA) I.R.
