The Zionist regime claims that global instability has increased the demand for its air defense systems, drones, and missiles. Tel Aviv is continuously working to maintain and strengthen its capabilities. Nearly a quarter of the weapons this regime exports were sent to Arab countries in 2022, and Tel Aviv is trying to normalize relations with those countries. More than 24 percent of the total income from the export of arms last year, equal to 2.96 billion dollars, resulted from contracts signed with the countries parties to the Abraham Accords. Many believe the sharp increase in demand for Israeli-made weapons is related to the war between Ukraine and Russia and to \u201cgeostrategic changes\u201d in Europe.<\/p>\n
After several Arab countries joined the list of normalizers of relations with Tel Aviv, the number of countries that bought drones from the Zionist regime has increased. Specialized companies in that regime’s military, technology, and cyber industries set up a workshop in arms-importing countries to train the countries’ human resources on how to use those weapons. This year, the number of countries buying drones, helicopters, and information and cyber systems has sometimes increased by 25 percent. The increase in arms exports of the Zionist regime is related to the increase in the number of transactions with Arab countries that have signed an agreement to normalize relations with Tel Aviv, as well as the increase in the demand of European countries for military technologies after the Russia-Ukraine war.<\/p>\n
Asia and Oceania were the largest buyers of the military items of the Zionist regime and accounted for 30 percent of the total exports. It is followed by Europe, which has purchased 29 percent of it. The United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, and Morocco, which established bilateral relations with the Zionist regime in 2020 under the Abraham Accords, accounted for 24 percent of the arms sales of the Zionist regime in 2022, which, compared to 2021, has increased by 7 percent. North America accounted for 11 percent, and Africa and Latin America accounted for 3 percent of sales, respectively. Drones make up the bulk of the regime\u2019s exports with 25 percent of sales, an increase of 9 percent compared to 2021, followed by missiles, rockets, and air defense systems, which account for 19 percent of the exports.<\/p>\n
In the latest attempt of the Zionist regime to sell equipment to other countries, the Defense minister of the regime, Yoav Gallant, and Boris Pistorius, the German Defense Minister, signed an arms contract worth 3.5 billion euros for the sale of the Arrow-3 missile defense system to Berlin. This contract is the largest arms contract in the \u201chistory\u201d of the Zionist regime. Berlin sees this agreement as an indication of the continuation of special relations between the two sides and greater protection of itself and its neighbors against any possible missile attack. After the Ukraine war, Germany tried to strengthen NATO\u2019s air defenses in Europe and asked its allies to buy deterrent systems together. Berlin expects the Arrow-3 system to be delivered in the last quarter of 2025.<\/p>\n
With its guided missiles, this defense system can directly target long-range missiles at altitudes above 100 km and outside the earth’s atmosphere. This system will provide a protective cover for EU countries. This system was first deployed in the Israeli Air Force Base in 2017 to protect the regime from air attacks. The German Minister of Defense believes that signing this agreement is a historic day for the parties. This system will ensure that the German air defense will have suitable conditions in the future, and if it is not said that the system is the best, it can be said that it is one of the best, and that\u2019s why Germany feels satisfied.<\/p>\n
A 100 billion euro fund covers the cost of this deal that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz created to strengthen Germany\u2019s defense after the Ukraine war. The Minister of Defense of the Zionist regime has announced that signing this contract is an important event.<\/p>\n
In recent years, cooperation between the Zionist regime and Greece has developed significantly. Relations between the parties have expanded at all levels since 2019 and after the New Democracy conservative party came to power in that country.
