Strategic Council Online: Former Prime Minister Taher Al-Masri, who is in Tehran to attend the Islamic Unity Conference, met with Dr Kamal Kharrazi, President of the Strategic Council on Foreign Relations.

At the meeting, Al-Masri said that enemies exploit the current situation in the Islamic world and the relations between Iran and certain Arab countries and spread Iranophobia.

“Today, the issue of Palestine is of particular importance, and Islamic countries must pay particular attention to it,” he said.

Dr Kharrazi in response reiterated the interest of the Islamic Republic of Iran in unifying the Muslim world and said that the Zionist regime is the main cause of division between Muslims and especially the countries of the region.

Dr Kharrazi also explained the reasons for Iran’s presence in Syria and Iraq.
