The full text of the statement is as follows:

“All praise is due to Allah, the breaker of tyrants, the destroyer of oppressors.”

The criminal hand of the Israeli regime, in full coordination with the treacherous United States, martyred senior Iranian military commanders, beloved nuclear scientists, and a number of civilian people. The Strategic Council on Foreign Relations, while expressing its condolences to the families of the martyrs and the people of Iran, makes the following points:

The remarks by Trump and Netanyahu following the aggression against the territory of the Islamic Republic of Iran made it clear that these attacks were carried out by the Israeli regime in full coordination with the United States. This demonstrates that Donald Trump’s diplomatic game of requesting negotiations with Iran, while simultaneously threatening Iran, and giving a green light to the Zionist regime for military aggression, is merely a deceitful maneuver, and puts the continuation of such negotiations under serious questions.

Naturally, the Islamic Republic of Iran considers it its right and duty to deliver a strong response to any aggression by the Zionist regime, by targeting proportionately its military centers and strategic facilities. It is upon the powerful armed forces of Iran to defend our national interests, and to make the aggressor regime and its treacherous supporters regretful of their actions, just as was demonstrated last night in  the “True Promise, Third” operation.

The attacks of the occupying regime revealed its intent to dominate the region and implement its long-standing “From the Nile to the Euphrates” policy. This must alert all regional countries that sooner or later, the Israeli regime—just like Syria and Lebanon—will aggress against all its neighbors. This underlines the necessity of a regional coordination in confronting the regime’s expansionism.

The Strategic Council on Foreign Relations is confident that the heroic people of Iran, just as they demonstrated during the imposed war, will support our armed forces, by playing their historic role in defending the country and resisting against foreign aggressors.
